My dog barks at airplanes. In the sky. Flying overhead.

Pictured: What the airplane saw. They shouldn’t fly so low. Or indoors.

This animal, Mad Maxine, I call her, is a low altitude warning system. She barks at the Cessnas and other fart carts from the Hayward Airport 4 miles away.
Here’s a (not very) related question: what is the significance in Christian mythology of the Crucifixion taking place on or near Passover? Any?

Doggo buffer.
Passover is very important as a reminder
of the grace of God, even more so to the Jews,
since it is a reminder of when He delivered the them
out of slavery in
Egypt and protecting them from the various plagues
. One of Jesus’ last lessons to his disciples was on the night of the Passover feast where he told them a metaphor that only made since once He had risen about his body being bread, which became the
important tradition of communion. It didn’t necessarily
have
to be
after
Passover, but the symbolism is important for understanding the
true import of the event;
i
t was all about understanding the extent of the continued
grace of God in the substitution
death of Jesus.
I’m happy you asked. There is much more to it but this is the baseline knowledge you need to begin examining the symbolism.

Mine has no problem with care, motorcycles, gunfire or fireworks but the slightest rumble of thunder or someone on a bicycle and she loses her everloving shit.
I’ve seen her make small children on bicycles cry because of this. She's a 120 pound gentle giant all other times.

Read an unrelated blog just now and thought of you. Apparently you are not alone.
“ As we live on one of the flight paths into Manchester airport, the lack of aircraft has been a definite thing. The boy dog is sad about this as he likes chasing them (I am not kidding). ”
